Clear Space

Clear space is the distance between the logo and everything around it. On all four sides of the logo, leave at least half the height of the “m”; no text, image or line enters this area.

Logo Corners

The consistency of our visual language starts at the corners. The legs of the “m” are rounded with a 17 px radius: a rounded corner conveys warmth and flow, a sharp edge conveys precision. The same 17 px repeats on the corner of every card and button on the site.

Logo Colors

Recognition comes from color consistency. The logo is used in four colors: red, black or cobalt on light backgrounds; white on dark and colored backgrounds. No other colors, gradients or shadows. Each logo downloads as SVG or transparent PNG from the button in its corner.

Symbol

Our main symbol is the red “m”: the first letter of the logo, drawn with exactly the same line. In the site’s tab icon it sits on a white background; app icons and profile photos can use a red or cobalt background.

Typography

Our voice speaks in Jost: modern, simple and legible on every screen. A single variable file contains every weight from 400 to 800. The name “markention” is never typed in the typeface; it is always the logo file.
